We would like to invite you to sponsor the Holiday Valley Race Team. The team is comprised of athletes, ages seven through eighteen, who participate in alpine ski racing at the Holiday Valley ski resort in Ellicottville, New York. Last season, we had 87 racers from New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan and Canada. These racers ski in slalom, giant slalom and super giant slalom events throughout New York and the Eastern part of the U.S. Last year, we had a record number of athletes compete in post-season races at the State, Eastern, and Junior Olympic levels. Our goal in fundraising is to provide these athletes with the best coaching and training possible to allow them to progress to these high levels of competition.
This year, we would like to offer sponsorship opportunities that will include prominent signage and promotion of your company at the regular season races we hold for JI-JVI level age group athletes. Sponsorship also extends to our website at hvskiteam.com. In February 2012, we will be hosting the Kandahar Festival in which the top 300 boy and girl athletes, ages 9-12, will compete. This event is draws over 300 racers and their families to our resort. All sponsorship signage and recognition will be very visibly displayed throughout this prestigious event.
